The hotel surprised me with a room upgrade to a lovely sea view refurbished room without extra charges. However, the lack of room service for basic needs, like ordering water, was quite unexpected. The service was a mixed bag, with exceptional assistance at check-in and check-out, but a lack of interest when I expressed dissatisfaction. The location had its perks being in a tourist area, but the ambiance was affected by ongoing construction work nearby. The dining experience was average at best, leading me to explore other options for meals. Overall, it had its highs and lows, but the value for money was decent.

The staff were friendly, particularly Karen at the tourist desk, who was helpful in arranging taxi services and ensuring a friendly check-in process.
